We are committed to a bringing fresh local veg, grown regeneratively, to our local community and neighbours. This year we are offering two types of share: standard and small. We are restricting ourselves to 40 boxes a week this year to ensure a high quality offering. To make that happen we will be offering both shares fortnightly; you will be receiving veg every second week! We are hoping to offer weekly boxes again in 2027; we will have to build some more polytunnels between now and then to make sure you get a diverse range of veg no matter the weather. Below you will find some further information about how the CSA works this year. Make sure you read
How it works
Signing Up
Right now, at the outset of the season, you can secure your share and veg for 2026. We will be closing signups once we are fully subscribed (sign up quickly, we expect that to happen in no time). Remember, you are making a commitment to eating our veg for the season.
By signing up you agree to our 2026 UBF CSA Members Agreement. It is important that you read this.
Harvesting and Distribution
Harvesting and distribution are two areas in which we are heavily reliant on volunteer labour and contributions. We are developing a volunteer rota to ensure that this is running seemlessly. If you have not been in touch with us already about your willingness to help out with this please reach out to the CSA Members Committee (who are coordinating this part of the CSA).
Our veg boxes will be packed and distributed on Tuesdays!
Being a member
Our CSA members are NOT customers. We are not a veg box scheme, we are a community of people who want to see change in our food system.
Members get to be involved in many different way: they volunteer, they get to come to special open days at the farm, they can develop a strong relationship with the farm and the growing, they get discounts on events and other benefits. We are not merely selling a veg box!
You can get in touch with us at csa-committee@farmcoop.scot if you have further questions, ideas, or want to get involved with developing our offering.
