We believe in promoting physical and mental health and well-being through outdoor activity and meet ups. We are welcoming people on site with volunteer opportunities and pick your own sessions. We also have regular ‘drop off point’ meet ups where customers can collect their produce, meet other like-minded people, and ask us questions.
We offer local and in season produce directly to the community.
We continually strive to offer an ethical and sustainable product by establishing farm and operation practices that support the environment. We are careful in considering the companies and people we choose to work with ensuring their values reflect our own.

We nurture an open, fair, and creative working environment with empowered workers. We are a workers coop, our business is owned and run by us. We exist to benefit the community and are working towards communal ownership of Upper Ballaird Farm to ensure that our work and mission continues to thrive in future generations.

This is embedded in our growing practices, land management, and outdoor services. Our actions support climate change mitigation, support and enhance biodiversity, incorporate agroecology and regenerative practices, and minimise our carbon footprint.
