Thank you for being one of our CSA members. We truly appreciate you being a part of the farm; we take care of it, together. We are excited to grow seasonal veg for you.
Tuesday the 27th of May and Tuesday the 3rd of June
As we have weekly and fortnightly veg box options and to manage your veg shares and our workload, we will split all of our fortnightly orders which means that some boxes will start on the 27th of May and others on the 3rd of June. From the dashboard in your account (link above) you will be able to see all the details of your veg box.

We harvest and pack your veg box on the day of collection/delivery (some, less delicate, items will be harvested the day before and stored overnight).
You are able to collect your veg box from the farm.
We are offering delivery to select areas which you can see on ooooby, please email us if you think we are missing your area.
Please email us with any delivery notes including a safe and cool place we can leave your box.
If you are unable to collect your box, please let us know and we will arrange for this to go to Start Up Stirling. This must be in advance to ensure food does not go to waste, you can do this easily now by pausing your box on ooooby.
Collection at the farm is on Tuesday between 17:00 and 19:00. Please bring your own box or bag to collect your veg, if you forget you can borrow our box but as our boxes are limited we ask you to return this as soon as possible. If you are collecting flowers please bring a bucket.
Deliveries will be on Tuesdays. We are unsure of timings at present but will update you when we can. We expect deliveries in Buchlyvie and Kippen to be in the afternoon and deliveries in Killearn to be in the evening. Please provide us with any specific delivery instructions for your property including a safe and cool place we can leave your box, to upperballaird@farmcop.scot. We will collect your empty boxes each week when we deliver, please leave this out for us. If you are receiving flowers please leave a bucket with water to keep them fresh.
Unable to Collect/receive delivery
If for any reason unforeseen reason you are unable to collect your veg box on Tuesday between 17:00-19:00 we will hold this on Wednesday at the farm. Please get in touch in such a circumstance.
If you are on holiday you can arrange for someone else to collect on your behalf or choose to donate your box to Start Up Stirling.
If someone else is collecting from the farm, no need to get in touch. If you normally have a delivery this will need to be collected from the farm so please contact us to arrange this on, upperballaird@farmcop.scot.
If you would like to donate your box to Start Up Stirling simply go into your account, select ‘Orders’ in the top right of your screen (it has a shopping trolley icon), from there you can choose to ‘skip orders’, then you can select the date you would like to skip and choose the option to ‘skip and donate’. Please do this at least one week in advance.
Please note, our donations to Start Up Stirling are picked and packed fresh, so if we do not know in advance we can not donate the box.
The benefits of our CSA:
You eat delicious and healthy local veg, grown without pesticides.
You support your local growers by committing to a whole season of eating our veg.
You get fresh produce with low food miles, only our veg grown at Upper Ballaird Farm is in your box.
You get a share of the veggies grown and share the risk with your growers – the more we grow for everyone the more you get. If we get snow in August, you get much less.
Eating seasonally, the amount and type of veg you get changes over the season.
You get access to a range of perks, including special farm events and discounts.
Without a doubt, you are helping to create more community resilience in Stirling!
